Is Your Operation Ready for RTK?
RTK is a service that can provide a lot of benefits to your operations however, it requires several different systems to work together in order to get corrections to you machines. Nobody wants any surprise fees or complications, so before you purchase a DigiFram RTK subscription directly, here are a few things to check before you buy:
Is Your Receiver RTK Unlocked?
Most GPS receivers require an unlock in order to enable RTK correction services. For some brands this is a one time fee, for others it is an annual cost to maintain the unlock. You will need to talk with a dealer or the manufacture of your receiver in order to obtain this unlock and use any RTK service.
Is There Coverage in Your Area?
DigiFarm is the largest virtual network in the US, cutting out the need for local base stations on every farm. We do not have coverage everywhere, but we are always looking to expand and work with growers to meet their needs. Check our coverage map to see if you are in an area our network already covers, or reach out to a sales representative to ask about expanding our network.
Can You Connect to the Internet?
DigiFarm delivers corrections through the internet. You can either use your own data plan on a modem or hot spot, or get a solution through us in a wide variety of flexible options.
